The Bijou Burlesque School is lead by Burlesque agent & producer Jac Bowie and is full partnership with The New York School Of Burlesque and London’s premier Burlesque school, Burlesque Baby.

Headmistress Jac Bowie founded the school after recognising a great need for education of the technical sides of cabaret, variety and burlesque, and of course the detailed history of the artforms. It is impossible to jump in and learn the artform without a full history of the performers who created and are responsible for it’s current form today.

The Bijou Burlesque School is officially recognised with it’s sister colleges and all graduates receive a 3 college certificate which is internationally recognised.

The Bijou Group Agency also hires a great deal of graduates for their Emerging Performers division of the agency for work on their events, and that of their clients.

Who Can Study With Us?

The Bijou Group Burlesque School l is not a school for the general public to learn Burlesque in 2 hours. It’s a college for existing and emerging performers to develop their skills and grow as a performer.
